The mission of the Johnson Foundation is to support and strengthen nonprofit organizations in the City of Cincinnati through thoughtful grantmaking. Our efforts are focused on the following service areas:

Traditional Grants to Nonprofit Organizations:

Equity and Inclusion: The Foundation is committed to serving nonprofit organizations located in Cincinnati’s urban core, whose efforts are focused on eliminating discrimination, empowering women, or providing opportunities for marginalized populations. 

• Grant applications for these funding areas are accepted by invitation only, and are evaluated on a quarterly basis.
