The mission of the Johnson Foundation is to support and strengthen nonprofit organizations in the Cincinnati’s urban core through thoughtful grantmaking. Our efforts are focused on the following service areas:

Traditional Grants to Nonprofit Organizations:

Expanding Access to Opportunity: The Foundation partners with nonprofit organizations located in Cincinnati’s urban core on programming and other efforts to expand opportunities for marginalized populations. 

• Grant applications for these funding areas are accepted by invitation only, and are evaluated on a quarterly basis.
